The Assemblies of God community recently came together in an incredible show of love and support for Rev. Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, as he and his family laid his beloved mother, the Late Madam Deborah Wengam, to rest.
In a heartfelt message, Rev. Wengam expressed his deep appreciation for the overwhelming kindness and generosity shown to his family during this difficult time. He acknowledged the many ways in which people contributed—through condolences, visits, financial support, prayers, and voluntary services. Many traveled from near and far, sacrificing their time and comfort to stand with the family and ensure a befitting burial for his late mother.

A Special Thank You to the Assemblies of God Family
Rev. Wengam extended special appreciation to the Executive Presbytery Officers, led by Rev. Godwin Tito Agyei, the Assistant General Superintendent, as well as Regional Superintendents, the Executive Committee, Regional and District Officials, and their spouses. He also acknowledged the invaluable support of past Executive Presbytery members, retired ministers, local pastors, the Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and departmental directors.
A special mention was made of Evolution, who played a key role in ensuring that the event was well-organized. Their dedication and excellent work were highly appreciated by the family.

Prayers for Divine Blessings
Rev. Wengam prayed that the God of heaven would remember, favor, and increase everyone who showed love and kindness to his family during this time of mourning. He emphasized the power of unity and the strength of the Assemblies of God family, whose unwavering support made all the difference.
The Wengam family remains deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood with them.
