Assemblies of God Ghana Holds 2025 Ordination Service for Central Region “B”

The 2025 Ordination Service for Central Region “B” of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, was a sacred and memorable occasion, marking the official ordination of dedicated ministers into full-time ministry. This solemn event was officiated by the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and assisted by the Regional Superintendent, Rev. Bismarck Moore.

Held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, during the Regional Council Meeting at the Assemblies of God Theological and Missions Seminary, Saltpond, the service was a time of deep spiritual reflection, impartation, and empowerment for the newly ordained ministers and the entire congregation.

A Call to a Life of Prayer

Preaching on the theme, “The Awesome Deeds of Prayer,” the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam, delivered a powerful sermon that underscored the indispensable role of prayer in the life of a minister. He charged the newly ordained ministers, and by extension all believers, to prioritize and persist in prayer, emphasizing that it is the core duty of every minister and every Christian.

Rev. Wengam reminded the congregation that prayer is the foundation of an effective and fruitful ministry, urging the new ministers to cultivate a life of deep communion with God. He highlighted how great revivals, supernatural breakthroughs, and divine wisdom all stem from a consistent and fervent prayer life.

A Sacred Moment of Ordination

The ordination service was a spirit-filled and solemn moment as the General Superintendent and Regional Superintendent laid hands on the candidates, commissioning them into the ministry with prayer and blessings. The atmosphere was filled with joy, commitment, and a renewed sense of purpose as the newly ordained ministers took their vows to serve God and His church faithfully.

This ordination service not only affirmed the calling of these ministers but also served as a reminder to the entire Assemblies of God family of the importance of unwavering dedication to God’s work through prayer, preaching, and service.
