The Assemblies of God Professionals Network (AGPN) continues its mission of fostering unity and collaboration within the Assemblies of God Ghana by paying a courtesy call on the Brong Ahafo ‘C’ Regional Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Osei-Owusu. This meeting, held on March 11, 2025, at Ahafo-Mim, marked another step in AGPN’s efforts to integrate professionals within the church into a strong, purpose-driven network.
A Mission to Connect and Empower
The visit was led by AGPN’s National Coordinator, Mr. Isaac Abanga, accompanied by key staff members. Their primary objectives were to introduce AGPN, outline its mission and objectives, and discuss plans to establish a functional AGPN secretariat at both the regional and district levels.
During the engagement, Mr. Abanga presented the Relaunch Ceremony Brochure to Rev. Stephen Osei-Owusu, highlighting AGPN’s vision and its role in bridging the gap between professionals within the church. Additionally, he shared details about an online platform being developed at the national level to facilitate networking, mentorship, and professional development among members.

Key Discussions and Outcomes
The meeting, which took place during a Regional Council gathering, saw deep conversations with the Regional Superintendent, Regional Secretary, and Treasurer on critical issues. One key concern raised was the need to ensure that church leaders and members actively balance their professional growth with their collective responsibilities to the church and AGPN.
Additionally, discussions were held regarding the timelines for inaugurating a regional AGPN executive, a crucial step in strengthening the organization’s presence within Brong Ahafo ‘C’ and ensuring its effectiveness at the grassroots level.
A Warm Reception and Strong Support
Rev. Stephen Osei-Owusu warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for AGPN’s vision. He noted that this was the first official courtesy call from AGPN’s leadership to the regional superintendent in Ahafo-Mim and commended the initiative. He pledged his full support for AGPN, emphasizing his commitment to ensuring its success in both the regional and district Assemblies of God churches.
He further assured the team that AGPN would receive the backing of Ahafo and its surrounding areas, recognizing the immense value the network could bring to professionals and the church at large.

A Moment of Prayer and Appreciation
As the meeting drew to a close, the Executive Committee (EC) led a prayer session for Mr. Isaac Abanga and his team, seeking God’s guidance and protection over their work. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and hope for the future of AGPN in the region.
In recognition of his leadership and support, the National Coordinator presented a plaque of appreciation to Rev. Stephen Osei-Owusu, marking a significant moment in AGPN’s journey of engagement and expansion.

Looking Ahead
With this successful courtesy call, AGPN remains committed to deepening its impact across all regions.
