Written by The Assemblies of God Professionals Network (AGPN) continues to build strategic relationships with church leadership across Ghana. As part of this effort, the National Coordinator (NC) and staff of AGPN recently made a courtesy call to the Ashanti North Regional Superintendent, Rev. George Ampofo.
Strengthening the Vision of AGPN
The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce AGPN, outline its mission and objectives, and discuss the establishment of a regional and district AGPN secretariat. During the meeting, the National Coordinator, Mr. Isaac Abanga, shared the RELAUNCH CEREMONY BROCHURE and provided the Regional Superintendent with a link to an online platform that AGPN is championing at the national level to enhance its reach and effectiveness.
Encouraging Professional Involvement in the Church
Rev. George Ampofo expressed great enthusiasm for AGPN’s vision and pledged his support at both the regional and district levels. He was particularly interested in understanding how the regional and district AGPN secretariats would be funded. Mr. Abanga addressed his concerns, assuring him of well-structured plans to sustain the initiative. The meeting was filled with smiles, goodwill, and a shared commitment to making AGPN a success within the Assemblies of God Church.
The Regional Superintendent further assured the AGPN team of continuous support from churches in Krofrom, Tafo, Bantama, and surrounding areas. The meeting concluded with a time of prayer, led by the Executive Committee (EC), for God’s guidance and protection upon Mr. Abanga and his team as they continue their engagements.
As a token of appreciation for his warm reception and willingness to collaborate, AGPN presented a plaque of appreciation to Rev. George Ampofo.
