Written by Day 3 of the 7th Annual Regional Council Meeting was a momentous occasion, marked by spiritual insight, professional inspiration, and heartfelt recognition. The Assemblies of God Ghana Accra East Region had the singular honor of hosting the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, as the Special Guest of Honour. A dedicated professional and a proud member of AGPN, her presence added a remarkable touch of distinction to the gathering.
The day’s activities were crowned by the presence of the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Y. Wengam, who delivered a stirring message titled “When Men Slept”, inspired by this year’s overarching theme: “Pray Without Ceasing for Supernatural Manifestation.” His sermon shed light on the signs of prayerlessness, such as the inability to pray for extended periods, difficulty in maintaining a regular prayer routine, and spiritual lethargy. His message served as both a wake-up call and a spiritual charge to reignite the fire of consistent prayer among believers.
